I have been researching some of the historically interesting deceased with connections to Lewisham ( SE London ) and came across Robert Silyn Roberts name in connection with his time as Minister at the former Welsh Church without appreciating just how remarkable his life and work was. I purchased the biography of Silyn by David Thomas ( as it is in the Welsh Language) I was therefore having to look afresh at some of his contemporary links to poets, revolutionaries and reformers in English. Did he for instance have any contacts with the campaigning journalist, Gareth Jones ( d.1935) ? So appreciation for offering in your post new insights and links into his eventful life which I will now follow up.
